Building the next generation of AI and ML pioneers starts with our society. As Australia’s only national university, we host some of the brightest minds ready to reshape AI and ML.
 

Our goal is to foster an environment where students can thrive in AI and ML, make a real impact on the broader community, and develop the skills employers demand. This society will provide a space to learn, discuss, and collaborate on projects that push the boundaries of innovation.

I want AIMSoc to be the place where ambition meets execution - where students don’t just learn AI, they ship real things with it. My background is in operations automation and building products from the ground up, and I’m excited to bring that builder mindset into the society.

My vision is to grow AIMSoc into a high-trust, high-output community: strong systems behind the scenes, and high-impact workshops, projects, and collaborations in front.

I want to leave something behind when I’ve moved on in my career. Something big.

I, and the whole team, have very big dreams for AIMSoc. As I told one Accenture partner, there will come a time when fifty percent of their grads will be alumni of the ANU Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Society. Maybe two or twenty years, I pray, from now.

For me, this society has the potential to be something truly lasting and meaningful. I want to build a community that doesn't just discuss technology but actively shapes it.

My vision for AIMSoc is to build something far bigger than just another club at ANU.

I want to help create a platform that truly integrates talent, ambition and passion for AI and ML. Applying it to something with real long-term impact and leaving behind an organisation that elevates ANU’s AI community.

As a student majoring in physics and computer science at ANU, my interests lie in theoretical and applied physics, AI, and High Performance Computing.

I want to foster a society to show students that AI and ML are not just for computing students - it's a tool that should be used across all disciplines.
